Got to stay warm!

Aww, Snowman plates!!!

Everything goes to the mouth!

Christmas 2006, cont

Ryan wasn't too excited about this gift, being an IU fan.
But he married into a Purdue Family.

You can see who is the center of attention in this house!

She loves presents.

Falling Stars

December 13-14 was a Meteor Shower. I attempted to get my husband
to watch it with me, but it happened that this night he was tired! So what is a
girl to do? Call your girl Lessing! Jen and I watched shooting stars for
must of the night! She had actually never seen one before, so it was
an awesome night for her!
We made hot chocolate, brought a heater with blankets,
and parked our chairs in front of the house!

Though you can't see any of the stars in the picture,

there were plenty out that night

Grandma Moments

Finally I have pictures of Grandma Gracie with Haylee!
Though my mom has Haylee once a week, I can't
seem to get any pictures of them together.
So here you go, an event that happens numerous
times in nature, but is rarely documented.

Ryan's B-day

It was Ryan's Birthday on the 21st of November. My family
was planning to do Thanksgiving early this year
due to the other plans of each member
in the family. My mom created a plan
to have a surprise birthday party for Ryan.
So after dinner, guests started showing up!
In order to keep it a surprise, I had
Ryan take the dogs out multiple times
within a 30 minute time span all to
avoid seeing people come in.
He couldn't understand why I kept asking him to take the dogs
outside! It was great, and he was totally surprised! The real
surprise was that I kept it a secret for over a month!
Be proud people, that's a big deal!!!

I even got to share in opening presents. Mary Kay got us

an ordiment for our Christmas Tree!
