Christmas with Ryan's Family

Top: Ryan, Jeff (Ryan's step-brother), and Adam (Ryan's brother)
Bottom: Kelly (Ryan's step-sister), me and Haylee, and Mary kay (Ryan's mom)
The Girls

Haylee and Drake (Jeff's son). Drake loves playing with Haylee and vice versa. Watching them
play together was so fun to see. They are very cute together!

Haylee saw Daddy put the bike together, so she thought she would help.

Jeff went to Purdue. I also went, but only for a semester!
Boiler up!! Daddy was not impressed~

Too Cute!

Christmas with my family!

It is so funny how much Christmas changes when you have little ones around.
All the attention is on them! This is Haylee's last christmas where it is just her, next year we will have two little ones to pour attention on!
Daddy trying to get all those twist-ties off the doll! That is what takes so much time,
getting the item out of the packaging!
Ryan and I were amazingly surprised by the present Colin and Mom got us!
They got us a flat screen Tv!! It was incredible, and I never expected it! With our current TV haylee is able to turn it on and off, which she thinks is absolutely hillarious when we are watching something of interest. So I had told my mom that in a few years when I get a job getting a wall mounted tv will be our first purchase! So thankfully they had pity on us, and got one for us! It was amazing. Ryan put it up this week and it's incredible.

Rory came home this holiday and finally got to meet Haylee!

Grandpa helping her open another doll

Grandma showing Haylee her new toy

Even Bella got a gift, a nice one! A colts collar!

Haylee loves her baby doll. I let her keep one in the car, and one day I heard her smacking her lips. When i turned around I saw her kissing the baby's head! Hopefully she will feel the same way about Sophie! :)

Haylee really isn't into opening presents yet, so she kind of just watched. But she knew that whatever was inside the package was for her, so she stayed close to make sure we were opening it right!

Haylee is really good at saying the animal names and what they say (ie Doggie says Woof Woof)
So for the Penguins, we sway back and forth. So that is what she is doing, the Penguin dance!

Sledding for the first time

Well we finally went sledding! We scheduled it for 2 hours before her nap.
But there is just something about being bundled up and in a car that puts kids to sleep.
So we had to wake her up. As seen below, she was NOT happy!
There were other kids there, so we decided to just take it easy at first.
Ryan walked her up and down the hill to see how she would react.
On the way back up the hill she saw me, and started waving and saying "Hi, Mama!"
So we knew she was ready to go down by herself.

We expected her to really enjoy it, but she was kind of just chillin' out!
I guess that is better than crying the whole time!

Let me tell you, balancing right now is hard enough with just being pregnant, but pulling Haylee behind me on a hill of snow was kind of tough! But she really liked it when Mama was at the top of the hill with her. She even started saying "red-dy? Edy?" when we got to the top!

Daddy and Haylee went down a couple of times together in the bigger sled. I just took pictures! :)

The First Snow

So we had our first BIG snow, and we decided to go sledding! But first we
had to go buy the sleds. Then we realized that her snow suit doesn't fit, so we had to go and get a new one. Then we were off to go have fun! By the time we got there, Haylee literately could not keep her eyes open. At one point she opened them, said "Dada!" and within that same moment closed them again! Oh well, we plan on going again tomorrow, this time after her nap!
So instead of sledding, we decided to snowblow our drive way! What fun!!
It took forever to layer her in her 15 layers! But finally she was buddled up!
She was so comfortable in all her layers that she refused to come inside. I had to bribe her with milk and seeing Bella our dog before she agreed to come in the house!!

She soon realized that though layers made her warmer, she couldn't move as easily. When she leaned over she couldn't get back up on her own!

Making sure Daddy doesn't miss any spots!

She went around looking for little piles of snow, so she could stomp on them! She's such a good helper.

Naughty or Nice?

We decorated our house for Christmas, so we are getting into the spirit!
She wouldn't sit still for the 'Nice' picture, so what does that tell you!! :)

This is her exaggerated laugh face!
When she does it we all start laughing

Baby Update!

Well we have good news to report! The previa has moved from a full coverage to a partial, and it's only been a month since the last ultrasound! So praise God for that!! We are also aware of the gender. It's a Girl!

This pregnancy has been completely different from the one with Haylee. I have been consistently sick, completely tired all the time, I'm carrying lower, the heart rate is always 146 or under, and I did those fun "what's the gender?" tests, and everything said it was a boy. I even felt 95% that it was a boy!

I am extremely excited it's a girl! I grew up with a younger brother, and many of my friends had younger brothers, so the sister relationship was something I always admired. I'm also excited to continue using all the clothes we got with Haylee!

Ryan is a little disappointed, but that is to be expected. He wanted his little man to play baseball and golf! We are planning on having more kids, just not for another 4-5 years; so I tell him there is always next time~

We have had a girls name picked out since the beginning, and never decided on a boys, so it worked out well. Her name will be Sophia Rae Clingenpeel. Though we will most likely call her Sophie!

Baby-5 months

I'm 20 weeks or 5 months. I have finally started gaining weight, although to date I have only gained a pound! But hey it's something~ We find out this week what we are having.
I still believe it's a boy, but I'm hoping for a girl! We are still at a loss for boys names, another reason to hope for a girl! The baby is becoming more active, like kicking and moving. Ryan was even able feel the baby move this week. That's one of the coolest feelings, to feel the movements of you child.
My dad thought he would show off the belly he has been working on for *1 years (in December)!

Thanksgiving 2007

This was our first year hosting thanksgiving. Ryan of course did all the cooking,
so no worries on that front. I tired cooking dinner a week ago, and baby Clingenpeel was
not having it; no more cooking for me for a while!
Not surprisingly, Ryan cooked an amazing meal. And we have leftovers for anyone that wants to try his great cooking. It was a good day, and we have plenty to be thankful for.
I finally was able to keep some bows in her hair, though they didn't stay in long. She was adorable with them in.
My dad. Unfortunately Gale wasn't there, she was with her daughter
and her grandkids. That's the problem you encounter, scheduling a time for everyone.

Ray and his baby Ariel.
We laugh now, because 4 years ago Ray refused to have a dog in the house. Now they are attached at the hip! Funny how things change

Grandma Gracie reading a book. Or rather, Haylee reading a book to her!
All the dogs. Mom brought her two-Ariel and brady. Then there is Bella

Headbanging Baby!

Daddy and haylee like to wrestle. Haylee had a running start and jumped on ryan
and headbutted him! There were some tears and blood, all of which came from ryan!!
I found the whole thing hillarious, so though I had tears, they were from laughing! And when Haylee saw me laughing, she started laughing. I'm happy to say that Ryan is doing fine now!
When Haylee realized that Ryan was hurt, she actually gave him a kiss and sat in his lap. It was adorable.

Best Husband EVER!

So I have the best husband in the world! Knowing I'm a HUGE colts fan,
and this being the biggest game so far (Patriots vs Colts), he got us tickets! We were 12 rows off the field on the Pat's side. We had "club seats" so that meant we could go to the private
lounge, and have a waiter throughout the game! AMAZING!!!
When I walked into the stadium, I was so excited I started shaking!
Because of my love for the Colts, I tend to yell, jump up and down, and tell the ref I think he's smart. On the Pat's first drive, Brady was sacked. In that moment I got so excited
that my belly started cramping. Thinking, I don't need to go into labor this soon, I decided then, I'll TRY to take it easy the rest of the game. The Colts lost by four, and I blame myself for not being able to yell and scream like I used to. Peyton and I usually have good talks through the tv, but I guess it doesn't translate in person as well! Regardless, I had one of the best times in my life! It was Christmas, my birthday and anniversary all roled into one! Again, I have the best husband in the world!

Jeff and Amy. Jeff got us the tickets, he's ryan's step-brother.

This is our view! The place was packed.
When our defence was up it had to be one of the loudest
places I have ever been.

Ultrasound Pictures

This is the first picture of the baby that gave us all a scare.
You can click on any of the pictures and you can see them in more detail.
The baby is the in the middle, the head is on the right side. Notice the black
circle in the head. That is the mass that was causing all the concern.
The circle at the very right is the yoke. The baby is sustained on that for 12 weeks, and
then moves to the placenta. Just some random info for ya!

This was the baby at 12 weeks. Again click on the picture to see it in more detail.
You can see the arm and leg buds. The baby was really active during these pictures, which
was fitting, because we were told the baby was healthy and fine! What a day of celebration!

These are the baby at 15 weeks!
You can see the spine, arms and the back of the head. THe baby's
feet were tucked under his/her trunk.
