Before we went out, we were told that the swells were 5-7ft tall.
That sounds big, but I didn't really know what that meant.
We all popped some sea sickness pills, and went out.
The water looked fine, so i wasn't too worried. But then you could
see the drop-off and the huge waves! I started freaking out,
and ran back to the cabin. We finally get out to the area where
we are gonna fish, there are a couple of other boats out there too.
The waves are so big that even though there was a boat right
next to ours, you couldn't see it, when the waves were crashing on
either side. After I got pasted my fear, that's when the sickness
hit! It was terrible! One of us in the group actually got sick off the side
of the boat. We were out there for about 1.5 hour, and we finally told the
captin the girls can't handle it anymore. "Chicas es muy inferma!" As they were
pulling up the fishing poles, the captin starting yelling something to the
first mate. Of course we are thinking that is not a good sign!
The first mate threw the fishing pole into Luke's hand and says "Sail fish, 7 foot!"
After 15-20mins, Luke reel's in a 7 foot sail fish!! It was beautiful, the timing was
perfect. All the guys were so pumped! They asked us girls if we would
stay out longer and see if we got anything more! Without a moment
of hestitaion, we yelled, "get us back to land muy rapido!!"
It was great that we caught something,
but I doubt Nicole and I will ever do
that again!

By the way, we threw it back in. It would have
cost 1,500 just to stuff it, not including shipping!
