Sister cuddle time!

Sophie hasn't been feeling good for the several weeks. She keeps picking up colds, and other fun stuff. Right now (12/16) she has a double ear infection, that has a bad cough and fever with it!

Haylee has been great with her, and has asked to hold her, and to kiss her when she is crying!

What a little mommy is she!!Haylee never had a binky, sucked her thumb or fingers, or anything else to self-soothe.

When she started noticing Sophie sucking on her fingers all the time, she started

doing it too. She has also started crawling on the floor, and telling me, "I'm a baby mommy!"

She's funny!

I love Sophie's face!! She is always so full on joy, even when sick!

Christmas at the club

We went to the country club for the kids christmas, with Ryan's boss' family.

The Chappell's: Gary, Ann-Rita, Bajha, and Sinha.

At the club, they had a dance floor with a live band, playing kids christmas

music. They had balloons, cookie making, and even santa claus. It was a fun morning!

Though Haylee loves to dance, doing it in front of other people was a little

scary for her!

Sophie on the other hand, had no problems being in front of other people!

In fact she crawled right up to the guitar player and starting chewing on his cords!

Ryan and I knew that Haylee probably wouldn't be a fan of Santa,

but it's just fun to take a picture anyway!! Doesn't she look like she is having fun!?

She perked up when we told her she got to make cookies!

Building a snowman

We had our first big snow fall a couple of weeks ago, so I promised Haylee

we could make a snowman. Though I don't think she knew what that was,

she still was really excited. I asked her to get her hat, coat, boots, etc. She asked me

if she could get my shoes to go outside. So she went and got me some shoes....

That's right, gold high heels!

Well at least I would be building a snow man in style! :)

Christmas Pictures 2008

I wanted to make christmas cards this year, and I wanted some special pictures.

So I attempted to have the girls pose for me, yeah right!!

I got a couple of cute ones, so here they are!

It has begun!

Well it has begun, Haylee claiming the entire house is hers!

Sophie is able to crawl to where ever Haylee is, and is interested in what

she is playing with. Though Haylee is good at sharing, well

most of the time, she still has her moments when is says,

"No Sophie, that's mine!" We have started practicing

sharing, but that is a hard enough concept for adults let alone,

little girls! But when it comes down to it, Haylee is a great big sister, and

really does care for Sophie. She even kisses her, and tries to comfort her when she is upset.

How precious are my girls?!

Haylee tells me, "can I hold her, I want to hold Doe-fee. I luv her!"

8 Months!

Can you believe she is already 8 months!!

Loves her food

She gets so excited about food, she starts rocking. This time while daddy was

feeding her, she rocked right into the spoon full of carrots!

Then she did it again with the Banana's! She just loves her food!
