So I haven't figured out how to upload the ultrasound pictures, but take my word for it: we are having a boy!!
We told the tech that we wanted to know the gender, and she explained that she would do the diagnostic work first then determine the sex. Within the first few seconds she says, "oh, oh daddy." I started thinking of worst case scenarios of what could case her reaction, then she said, "daddy you got your boy!" she turned the screen and there IT was!! Clear as day, we both were so excited! The baby looked healthy, nothing to report. Still have issues with where the placenta is located, but it was the same with Sophie. The only frustrating part about it's location is I can't feel him move yet, even though I have seen how active he is.
Ryan had come up with a name when we first found out we were pregnant. Micah Lee. No biblical reference there, in fact it is a name he liked from his Cubs. Lee is a family name on his father's side, all the boys carry it as their middle names. Which is another reason we spell Haylee the way we do.
So now we have the task of finding boys clothes, decor and books on how to raise them! :) I'm excited to have a little man around the house. Crazy enough I have wanted a boy so I could spike his little hair to go out-how cute is that! Weird I know, but it's the little things that excite me!
Continue to pray for health for both mama and baby. I'm traveling three times a week on interstate 69 to my job at Taylor- so also pray for safety as there are some crazy drivers out there. (I in recent years am no longer one of them-2 years abstinent of traffic tickets!)
Micah will be arriving sometime between the end of February and the beginning of March 2010!

First day of Gymnastics
Haylee started Gymnastics!
She is a monkey already, she does forward rolls, climbs up and
down the rope, jumps off chairs, etc. So it is a perfect fit!
Church Picnic
"So we can be safe"-Dora the Explorer
Soph sees Haylee wear her helmet when biking, so Soph wanted to try it on!
I added the knee pads for effect!
