Micah discovered he is not a fan of mandrian oranges. The only problem is that we didn't capture it on video...so what's a parent to do? Re-enact it with lemon juice instead!

OK, so I won't win parent of the year award, and i'm terrible...but come on it is really funny. And he ends up laughing at the end too...no harm done, right??!! :) I guess I'll find out in 10 years in family therapy!!

Be My Valentine!

This is the first year for Haylee to celebrate Valentine's with her preschool

classmates! I think I was more excited than she was initially!

She signed all of them herself, though Mom had to add her name again to make

sure everyone could read it! ;)

Snow 2011

2011 Winter Storm brought multiple inches of snow.

So when the weather got a little warmer we put

our snow boots on and went playing!

Snow Angel, minus the head. That would mess up her hair! Duh

Soph was NOT excited to go down the hill, and promptly told us she won't be doing

that again!

Micah was really didn't seem to care one way or another!

Even going down the hill, no tears or screams, not even a smile!

Haylee was a little nervous but ended up liking it when with daddy

Checking to make sure it isn't yellow snow--cause that would be bad!

Bath Party

Micah has graduated to the big tub, so for a mutli-tasking mom

like myself it is much easier to give them a bath all at the same time, even if the tub is a

little crowded!

Haylee of course loves giving micah a bath, and playing with him

Micah on the other hand is saying, what are those girls doing to me?!?!

Princess Fort

You remember as a kid when you would make forts

and it was the coolest thing ever?!

I randomly found these sheets in our basement and

knew they would work perfectly for the girls bed.

I believe the sheets are for a full bed.

I put the fitted sheet over the bed knobs, without using any attaching feature.

The flat sheet is just draped over the side rail.

The coolest part is the print on the sheets, minics a night sky!

Haylee later told me that I was the coolest mom ever for making this for her!

Sleep over

Yes that is Micah's Play pen, and yes they slept there all night.

That was the way daddy found them in the morning!
