I'll admit it, I have a bit of a negative bias towards Princess things.
Why I don't know, I guess I need to reflect on that and use my counseling
skills. My intention was to not buy Haylee princess items, if she liked something
with princess on it, I wouldn't take it away from her. But I wouldn't take the initiative and get her something like that. For the last couple of months, she has really taken an interest in
Princess things, (ie my high heels are princess shoes, her dresses are princess dresses,etc)
So I finally resigned myself to allow my daughter to dress like a princess.
With a gift card we got, she got a bunch of princess items; and she loves them.
That's all that matters anyways, right?!
And with that, I think we have discovered the theme for her 3rd birthday: Princesses!!
It's not a dress, but a Tutu. It was cheaper, but still really pretty!
She even modeled for me; and asked if I would take her picture!
